Scribble at the Elbphilharmonie
That is the German name for Scribble. In November 2018 draughtman Gerard de Bruyne, oud-player Jaber Fayad, clarinettist Rudi van Hest and technician Arjan Slotboom will travel to Hamburg to play Krickelkrakel. 8 shows in four days:
16 november: private performances at 9.30 and 11.15 uur
17 november: public performances at 11.00 and 14.00 uur
18 november: public performances at 11.00 and 14.00 uur
19 november: public performances at 14.00 and 16.00 uur (in Kulturpunkt in Barmbek Basch)

Wervelwind Ensemble plays in Hamburg
On the 24th and 25th of March 2018 we are honoured to play Twirl (‘Wirbel’ in German) for the toddlers from Hamburg.
We are happy to return to Hamburg after last years succesfull performances of Whoosh!.

Soutbank Centre and Kuckuck Festival
Imagine Childrens Festival, London
Whoosh! is featured as part of this 12 day jam-packed half term fun festival run by kids for kids. Including the best children’s theatre, activities to get stuck into and events by inspirational authors, there’s loads to do for ages 0 – 12.
We are happy to perform Whoosh! in the Royal Festival Hall during this festival on the 8th and 9th of February for everybody from 1-3 years and their (grand)parents.
Kuckuck Theaterfestival, Munchen
KUCKUCK offers theater for the little ones from 0 to 5 years. Internationally renowned artists show a variety of pieces for the youngest ones at three venues. Sounds, dance, objects, puppets, light and smells are used to open up new possibilities for a sensitive theater experience.
We are looking forward to perform Whoosh during this festival on the 14th of March.

Next stop: Ireland!
Dublin Fringe Festival is home to bold ideas, brave performing arts and adventurous audiences. We are happy to announce that our performance Whoosh! will be part of the Fringe for Kids during this marvelous festival. We will play for the toddlers of Dublin on the 16th and 17th of september. Than we move on to Newbridge to perform at the Riverbank Arts Centre on the 18th of September.
In Dublin we will be playing at The LIR Academy, Studio 2, on the 16th and 17th of September. You can buy tickets here. And for the time schedule:

Whoosh! at The Spark Festival
In two weeks time Whoosh! is crossing the North Sea to play at one of the largest children’s arts festival of Engeland and Wales: The Spark Festival in Leicester!
We perform Whoosh! on the 23th and 24th of May at least 4 times at the Curve Theatre.
Zwier (Twirl) nominated for international award
Proudly we can announce that our music-performance Zwier (1+), played by the Wervelwind Ensemble, has been nominated for an international music award: ‘The Young Audiences Music Awards’ (YAMA). In the category ‘Small Ensemble for Young Audiences’ On the 25th of October 2016 all the awards, including the awards for ‘public choice’ and ‘production of the year’, will be handed out in a special ceremony in Larvik (Norway).

Whoosh! across the seas
Baboró International Arts Festival for Children 2016
On the 21st, 22nd nd 23th of October the ensemble Alle Hoeken van de Kamermuziek will play de muziekvoorstelling Woei! (1+) at the Baboró International Arts Festival for Children, in Galway Ireland.
Whoosh! will be played nine times, including two socalled ‘relaxed performances’. A relaxed performance is aimed specifically at parents or teachers who may have concerns about bringing their child/children to a public event for a variety of reasons.
Whoosh! can be seen in a beautifull, intimate theater: Nun’s Island Theatre.

Twirl to Wroclaw
International Theatre Festival for Children 2016
On Thursday the 22nd of September the Wervelwind Ensemble will play the music-theatre performance Twirl (1+) in Wroclaw, Poland, at the International Theatre Festival for Children. Wroclaw is the Cultural capital of Europe 2016.
